1999-008 – Plug-flow Cytometry for High Throughput Screening and Drug Discovery

Automated sampling systems for flow cytometry allow individual samples to be assayed sequentially. This technology describes an alternative approach to existing automated sample handling techniques. The concept is that individual samples can be lined up in a sample tube and separated by plugs of fluid (typically the same buffer the sample is in). These samples can be delivered sequentially into the flow cytometer for analysis. Gregg Banninger GBanninger@innovations.unm.edu 505-272-7908
