2015-005 – Grouper ActiveMQ Provisioner (GAP)

The invention is multiple software components. 1) A changelog consumer for Grouper, another open source project, to obtain changes made to the grouper environment and make available those changes to a queue in the Apache ActiveMQ server, also another open source project. (Doshi) 2) A dispatcher which reads items from the ActiveMQ deposited by the Grouper changelog processor and based on a configuration file, distributes the items to other ActiveMQ queues. (Feder) 3) An ActiveMQ consumer processing the items to update group objects in Microsoft’s Active Directory (Doshi) 4) An ActiveMQ consumer processing the items to update any LDAP server’s group objects (Doshi) 5) An ActiveMQ consumer processing the items to update isMemberOf attributes in user objects corresponding to the group memberships of any LDAP server.
