2018-126 – QCeq: Quality Control for Next Generation Sequencing

USC researchers have developed an imaging analysis software called QCeq that can evaluate sequencing sample quality quickly and inexpensively. Requiring only common lab equipment to perform, the software removes noise and analyzes fragment size distributions to provide the user quality readouts for each sequencing sample. The software also provides recommendations for recovering low quality samples. Elisabeth Rutledge erutledg@usc.edu (213) 821-3552
