This microfluidic microplate detects acute infectious diseases through a rapid and sensitive test. This innovation is created with low cost materials and is an ideal device for remote and low-resource environment. Using an immunoassay to detect infectious diseases, this point-of-care device is comparable to the ELISA kits when looking at sensitivity and specificity. This detection device does not require any specialized equipment or a laboratory setting to perform immunological assay of a wide range of infectious diseases and cancer.
