This invention is a circulation control system that includes an air supply unit and an air delivery system for improving the performance of a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The air supply unit is configured to generate a specific amount of mass air flow. Circulation control, as it pertains to aerodynamics, refers to systems and methods that attempt to utilize the Coanda effect (the tendency of a fluid jet to stay attached to a convex surface) to increase lift.
