Concrete Mix for Electromagnetic Pulse Shielding

This technology provides a more efficient and cost effective way to protect data, hardware and software from EMP. Technology Description Conductive concrete is a building material that can offer built-in shielding against EMP (electromagnetic pulse) and also provide electromagnetic field immunity and radiated emission security. A properly designed conductive concrete enclosure can provide effective global shielding at the frequencies of interest. Conductive concrete walls also provide grounding (and lightning protection) which carry the energy of EMP induced current in wires and other conductors.
