HPG-ALD Polymers for Proteomics

Novel high molecular weight dendritic hyperbranched polyglycerol-aldehydes (HPG-ALD) are available for purchase. HPG-ALDs can be used for selective peptide separation for mass spectrometry based proteomic analysis, including the terminal amine isotopic labeling of substrates (TAILS) protocol. Proteomes are tissue specific and dynamically change depending on the physiological and pathological state of the tissues.
