Inventors at The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth (HSC) have developed a single-cell detection and analysis workflow to determine the make-up of a DNA mixture. The single-cell detection system reduces the challenges of DNA mixture interpretation as each cell is independently analyzed and therefore unambiguously identifies a contributor. Unique to this technology, the invention’s workflow analyzes single-cell profiles, individually and holistically.
