UIC-2018-053 Ocular Projector System

A safe and effective device for correcting corneal blindness in patients who are unable to obtain or are at high risk of corneal transplant failure. This device uses a camera to capture images that are wirelessly transmitted to an implanted receiver, and uses a high resolution micro display and lens to project the image onto the retina from within the eye itself.
