UIC-2018-080 – Urine Control – Automated Urinometer for the Intensive Care Unit

An automated, universal adaptor for current urine output measuring devices that can digitally display the real-time rate of urine output on an external interface. Attaches at the interface between the catheter and the drainage tubing. As the urine exits the bladder, it flows through the catheter and into the device where it is measured and then drained into tubing that connects to a discarding bag. Urine is measured dropwise.
