Wearable Device to Improve Singing Abilities

Known as the “tin ear,” this device uses a proprietary process to enable singers with tone challenges to sing “on key.” The singers gain the ability to naturally and joyfully sing “on key” with continued use of the device. This device opens the path for many who are classified as “tone deaf” to pursue voice training. Those with a limited level of tone deafness will perform at a higher level of proficiency by utilizing this device. Alternative assistive devices use very different signaling mechanisms that require specialized training to use and provide a less “natural” experience of singing Chao Zhang czhang3@utep.edu 915-747-6717
